Ever woke up thinking “I’m gonna have a great day today no matter  what”, then all of a sudden someone comes along and says something to you or something happens that ruins your mood? Been there, done that, failed miserably. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that you have to be strong and fight for your happiness. You have to keep your self encouraged and uplifted so that when bad times come you are able to withstand them. Here are some tips to help you start your day off on the right foot.

  1. Prayer- Get up early in the morning and spend quality time with God. Pray to him and ask for guidance for the up coming day.
  2. Coffee- A cup of Joe goes a long way. If for some reason you cant drink coffee. Try something in the place of it such as tea or a healthy alternative.  There is a wonderful tea I love to drink by Yogi. It’s called Positive Energy tea. It’s designed to uplift your spirits and naturally put you in a good mood.
  3. Meditate- Think on good thoughts throughout the day and read your favorite bible verses.
  4. Write out your goals-  Create a plan of action to pursue your dreams whether it be weight loss, going back to school or starting a business.

Above all seek peace and pursue it.  Remember God is on your side and there is nothing anyone can do to stop you.
